Try the following two forum sites to connect with other sexual abuse survivors in your country and others.
Anonymous forum to either read or contribute to concerning art and healing from trauma. Enter your artwork, poems and artistic works for the event in West Virgina. See workshops and join in creating artworks in Hurricane West Virginia. After Silence Message board - http://www.aftersilence.org/forum/ Message board and chat areas for survivors of sexual abuse and assault. Both these boards are recommended and frequented by other survivors. If you do not feel comfortable posting, just read. Topics discussed are of relevance to survivors and supporters of survivors, people interested in the topic, research and understanding of the issues involved in sexual abuse and assault. Both boards have contact information regarding where to go for help and are good at educating yourself and gaining access to other resources and events that are happening. Both men, women and teenagers frequent the forum boards. You do not need to log on or pass any personal details to read the information. Both forums are well moderated (a moderator is someone who maintains the board and checks on suitability of posts) and the moderators can be contacted for help if need be.
